The Prime Minister is still showing symptoms of coronavirus, Downing Street has confirmed. Boris Johnson announced he had tested positive for the virus last Friday after he was suffering with mild symptoms.
Nearly a week later, his official spokesman said in a Westminster briefing: “The PM continues to have mild symptoms, but he does still have symptoms.” Asked if he would be leaving self-isolation on Friday, April 3, the spokesman said: “We’re following the guidelines from Public Health England and from the chief medical officer which state that you need to self-isolate for a period of seven days, so no change in that.” In a video of himself published to Twitter on the morning of his test result, Mr Johnson said he had developed a
