Boris Johnson could be forced to delay his exit from self-isolation after Downing St confirmed the PM was still showing symptoms.
Speaking on Thursday morning, the Prime Minister's spokesman told reporters that Mr Johnson "continues to have mild symptoms but he does still have symptoms".
He added: “Were following the guidelines from PHE and from the chief medical officer which states that you need to self isolate for a period of seven days so no change in that.” Asked if leaving isolation while still displaying symptoms was reckless, Downing St said the Prime Minister would follow medical advice.
