Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Covid-19 nurse's open letter about a day on hospital wards fighting the bug has gone viral. Vicky Neville came back from maternity leave early to help her colleagues on the coronavirus frontline.

The intensive care sister penned an open letter in a bid to make the public aware of the ordeal and strain NHS staff are enduring every day amid the pandemic.

Vicky, who works in Warrington Hospital, Cheshire allowed for the letter to be shared on the Nursing Times website.Her heart-wrenching words caught the attention of TV star, Piers Morgan.

The Good Morning Britain presenter shared Vicky's letter with his 7.6 million followers on Sunday, the Liverpool Echo reports.
