Covid-19: PM Modi to address Indian envoys on Monday via video link

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address Indian envoys via video link later Monday on coronavirus outbreak and India’s internal and external response to the crisis, a person familiar with the development said.
Modi’s move follows a similar conference call by Indian foriegn minister S Jaishankar some days ago. With covid-19 infections inching towards the 750,000 mark worldwide and causing more than 34,000 deaths, the pandemic has become an unprecedented challenge for all governments.
