The organisers of the Highland Perthshire Whisky Festival have vowed to bring the taste and smell of whisky to people, with a radical change of plan.Ewan McIlwraith and Sandy Fraser called off the actual event - due to happen in Pitlochry on May 9 - but have come up with a unique way to still hold the festival three weeks later on May 30 by streaming it online and getting miniatures off in the post.They are calling it The Self-Isolation Whisky Festival.Exhibitors will be sending out samples that can arrive ahead of the event so people can experience a selection of drams in their own homes.Ewan McIlwraith, who has specialist whisky shop Robertson’s of Pitlochry and joined the prestigious judging panel for the World Whisky Awards in 2018,
