GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes has candidly spoken about his reliance on others due to his need for a wheelchair. During a discussion on the Breakfast show about the Christmas travel warning and the suggestion of trains as an alternative, Eamonn made a heartfelt admission. "The train definitely could be a dream, but I'm now sort of wheelchair laden...
you rely on a lot of people to get you on and off. It's very, very difficult doing that," he confessed. "I just threw that in...it's not a concern to anybody, but there we go," he added.
His co-host Isabel Webster empathised and said: "Well, it's a consideration lots people in the same position as you Eamonn." The veteran breakfast TV presenter has been dealing with serious mobility issues following back surgery and mostly uses a wheelchair, although he can use a walker for short distances.
Earlier this year, he spoke about his ongoing "epidemic of pain" which has left him reliant on a walking stick and wheelchair.
