A European Union summit in Brussels has continued into a fourth day with still no agreement on a multi-billion Covid-19 recovery fund.
Leaders negotiated throughout the night on what proportion of the €750 billion fund would be made up of non-repayable grants.
This has been a bad-tempered and exhausting negotiation and relations between some northern European countries and the south could take a long time to recover.
At the heart of the divisions is how much of the fund should come by way of grants and how much should be in the form of repayable loans.
