A family who travelled an hour-and-a-half to a popular beach have moaned about the destination being packed during the warm weather.

Jane Peacock and her family travelled to popular tourist spot Lulworth Cove in Dorset on Sunday. With the warm weather and lockdown restrictions being eased, more than 2,500 people joined them.

BBC News interviewed Jane and daughter Ellie as they relaxed on the beach. “It’s nice to get out of quarantine but I think it’s going to peak again because everyone’s going to go mad and go anywhere they can,” Ellie said.

Mum Jane then complained about the number of people who were there. She said: “It’s lovely to get out but I’m quite shocked how many people are here and how they’re not paying attention to the
