Farmfoods issue urgent recall for popular product over allergy fears

Farmfoods 50 Cocktail Sausage Rolls have been recalled due to an allergy risk. The product poses a risk to those intolerant or allergic to milk or milk constituents.

Farmfoods customers are advised to check their freezer items, particularly if they've recently purchased frozen sausage rolls.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has declared an urgent product recall over labelling concerns involving savoury pastries. An FSA announcement warned: "David Wood Baking Ltd recalls Farmfoods 50 Cocktail Sausage Rolls because of undeclared milk."According to the British Dietetic Association, allergic responses to milk can sometimes be delayed, implying that symptoms could appear sometime after ingestion.

Immediate allergy symptoms could manifest as an itchy rash, hives, swelling, watery eyes, runny nose, coughing, and rare difficulty swallowing or breathing.
