GB News viewers were left outraged by one journalist’s suggestion that Prince Harry contributed to King Charles ’ cancer diagnosis.
On Monday, Buckingham Palace released a statement announced that the King had been diagnosis with cancer and will undergo immediate treatment.
Last month, the monarch spent three days in hospital after being diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and underwent surgery. It was during this intervention that a separate issue of concern was noted and subsequently diagnosed as a form of cancer, writes The Mirror.Appearing on GB News on Tuesday to discuss the king’s diagnosis, pundit Mike Parry brought up Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, suggesting the Sussexes’ transition away from the royal family and subsequent move across the pond may have contributed to the monarch’s ill health.Parry said: “Could the stress of having to sort out the Harry situation over the last two years have contributed to his illness?
Because we know that stress does contribute to illness.” He went on: “Stress can give you heart attacks, stress can give you nervous conditions, and I believe that if you ask top doctors they’ll say yes, it could be responsible for at least enhancing the King’s anxiety and that anxiety in itself might have worked its way physically into his body.” Parry’s suggestion was quickly rebuffed by the programme’s hosts, who expressed their hope the commentator was “wrong” about “family rifts” being to blame for his recent diagnosis.Viewers watching at home were extremely shocked about Parry’s claims, and took to social media, with one questioning why “morons like [Parry are] allowed to pollute the airwaves and atmosphere?”While another added: “What absolute tripe!”Another said: “Depravity
