Dr Hilary Jones joined Good Morning Britain this morning to discuss the coronavirus pandemic. The doctor revealed how he took the coronavirus test kit, showing the results on live tv after testing negative for the virus.
It's been confirmed that the tests will be available for health care workers to use before being for sale to the general public.
Dr Hilary explained he doesn't think they should be sold online or in shops as it could cause problems. He said it would be useful to the health care professionals as it reveals if they should self-isolate.
The TV medical professional said: "It's almost like a pregnancy test except you need a drop of blood. "This migrates up the filter to chemicals which creates an immunoassay.
