Gogglebox stars have been forced to defend themselves as viewers criticise the show for 'breaking social distancing rules'. The Channel 4 show has been continuing to air during the coronavirus pandemic but has come under fire each week for the apparent breach of the measures.

Complaints have been made to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom and fans have hit out on social media over the issue. This forced Channel 4 into responding to the complaints on air before the most recent episode of Gogglebox on Friday night.
