A 20-year-old woman from Hyde has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers after a lockdown-flouting house party was broken-up in Liverpool.
Eleven other people who had travelled from Greater Manchester to attend the party were issued with fixed penalty notices for breaching Covid-19 legislation.
Merseyside Police said three officers were assaulted after being called to a house party in Garmoyle Road, Wavertree, just before 8.30pm on Saturday.
The 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of breach of Covid-19 legislation and three counts of assaulting constables after becoming aggressive when officers attended.
