Tottenham star Harry Winks says players “do not want” to play games behind closed doors as Premier League organisers look to bring a return to action.
English football is set to return in June as top-flight games are played at neutral venues, making up for the games postponed by coronavirus.
But players are not keen on coming back as Covid-19’s spread is a concern for Premier League stars. And Winks, who has made 33 appearances this season for Spurs, has voice his and other players’ concerns.
Speaking to Nihau Arthanayake on BBC Radio 5 Live, Winks said: “Yeah I mean it’s a possibility, of course that could happen and the thought of it is probably not something that every Premier League player wants to do because it’s strange situation
