The 60-year-old actor has been rushed to undergo surgery as he gave the update on Thursday.Dean, who has played the role of Will Taylor in the ITV soap since 2019, shared a snap on his Instagram page dressed in a hospital gown with his thumbs up showing a cannula in his hand.He thanked staff at Sheffield's Thornbury hospital for the care, writing: "Surgery went well.

Very happy to have woken up. Many thanks to my surgeon Chris and all the staff," as fans rushed to send the soap star a quick recovery.
