Jeff Stelling has blasted Sports Direct after defying Boris Johnson’s order to close all shops in the country. The nation has gone into lockdown as the coronavirus continues to grip the world.
In an attempt to slow down the disease, the Prime Minister announced in a stern warning to stay indoors and only leave if absolutely necessary.
Furthermore, all shops that do not provide essential supplies should be shut to keep customers and workers alike safe. However, Sports Direct, owned by Newcastle chief Mike Ashley, has insisted that their stores will remain open to the public.
