A concerned intensive care nurse says she and her colleagues have been told they have to share face masks because there isn’t enough equipment to go round.

Lorraine, who did not want to give her last name, appeared on Good Morning Britain to tell viewers that many workers like herself are worried about using unsterilised equipment.

PM Boris Johnson ordered a widespread lockdown in the UK on Monday after thousands of people ignored calls for 'social distancing' to slow the coronavirus pandemic.

But Lorraine said she believed that Britain’s reaction to the crisis was too late, and criticised Health Secretary Matt Hancock for not properly preparing for the outbreak.
