Jeremy Clarkson recalls arm-wrestling ‘strong’ Boris Johnson as he’s taken to intensive care with coronavirus

Jeremy Clarkson has shared a message of support for ‘strong’ Boris Johnson, after he was rushed into intensive care at St Thomas’ Hospital as his coronavirus symptoms worsened.

Taking to Instagram, the Grand Tour host blessed us with a throwback as he arm-wrestled the current Prime Minister on what appeared to be a TV set.

Alongside the snap, the 59-year-old simply wrote: ’20 years ago, Boris beating me at an arm wrestle.  ‘He’s strong.’ Boris was taken to hospital on Sunday night over his coronavirus condition, and moved into intensive care on Monday.

A string of famous faces, including Peter Andre, Lord Alan Sugar and Linda Lusardi, rushed to offer the PM their well wishes.
