Portuguese nurse who helped save Boris Johnson's life in intensive care pictured

One of the NHS heroes who helped save Boris Johnson as he fought for his life in intensive care has been revealed. The Prime Minister was discharged from St Thomas’ Hospital in London today after spending three nights in the ICU ward.

Earlier this afternoon, Johnson released a video on Twitter thanking the NHS workers who helped him recover from the coronavirus.

Among the staff singled out was Luis from Portugal and Jenny from New Zealand. The pair have since been identified as Luis Pitarma, 29, and Jenny McGee, Daily Mail reports.
