Joe Wicks has raised £200,000 for the NHS through his online PE lessons. The 33-year-old appeared on Good Morning Britain today with wife Rosie in his first interview since leaving hospital following surgery on his hand.

Speaking to Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard, Joe said that his “ambition is to raise £500,000 in the next few weeks.” Explaining his stint in hospital, he said: "I broke a little bone in my hand and I had two wires put in the hand.

I’ve been doing P.E. With Joe for six weeks with no problems, but on Friday I had a really bad flare up. "It was infected, I spent the weekend in hospital on morphine and codeine.
