Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan gets 'foul-mouthed' death threats after petition for GMB sacking

Piers Morgan has revealed he has been receiving death threats after a petition to get him sacked from Good Morning Britain went viral.

Fortunately for Piers, his fans created another petition to keep him on the ITV show which has seen him loudly challenge Government officials over the coronavirus pandemic.

As usual, viewers are torn over Piers' presenting manner and it led one hater to create a petition to get him fired from the gig with Susanna Reid.

Having none of it, the 55-year-old took to his official Twitter account to tell his 7million followers about the "foul-mouthed" messages he has been receiving.
