Chatting to hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes via video link, he told viewers: “My grandfather, who was 92, passed away from this terrible disease.” The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, whose real name is Robert, went on to recall what a hero his grandfather was. "The thing is he survived the Second World War, and he was a man determined and conspired to see joy in the world,” Robert explained, adding that he was determined to carry on his positive legacy.
