Kate Garraway has revealed the sweet way football legend David Beckham reached out to her and her children, amid husband Derek Draper's coronavirus battle.

Her husband Derek has been critically ill since being struck down with coronavirus in March. Kate returned to Good Morning Britain on Monday as a host, for the first time since stepping down after Derek's hospital dash.

She and their children Darcey, 14, and Billy, 11, remain hopeful their father will return home and recover, as he continues his fight.

The family have been overwhelmed with the support from friends, family, fans and even celebrities since their ordeal began. Kate revealed none other than David Beckham even reached out to her with some sweet words.
