Cereal giant Kellogg’s is giving out thousands of pounds in grants to schools to help keep vulnerable children and the children of key workers fed.
The company, based in Trafford Park, is handing out grants of £1,000 to schools across Manchester which are currently open for the families of key workers; and schools can start applying.
The “breakfast grant” can be spent on anything the school needs to make breakfast at school a possibility; ensuring children get a proper meal at the start of their day and supporting families.
Schools can apply to receive the grants by clicking here. The Kellogg’s breakfast club programme has supported schools to provide children with breakfast since 1998, but this original initiative has now been extended.
