Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly called Kylian Mbappe's father in a bid to convince the PSG star to move to Anfield.
Mbappe is one of the world's most sought-after players, and has long been linked to Real Madrid in a move that some have suggested could cost as much as £250million.
However, under Klopp's tutelage Liverpool have risen to become arguably the world's best club side, having won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup in the past 10 months.
And that has put them in the frame to sign the 21-year-old striker, who has scored 30 goals for Paris-Saint Germain this season.
