Liverpool are interested in luring Timo Werner to the Premier League this summer, but Dimitar Berbatov wants him to stay in Germany.
The Reds have been strongly linked with a move for the RB Leipzig striker ahead of the 2020/21 campaign. When the season ends, Jurgen Klopp could look to bring the German international goalscorer to Anfield.
Werner would certainly provide competition for a place up front at Anfield, with Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi the only natural striker options at present for Klopp.
Leipzig are reluctant to lose Werner this summer, although they could be tempted to cash in given the financial impact the coronavirus crisis has had on clubs across Europe.
