Manchester United supporters were left in tears as the club made an incredible gesture to a fan in coronavirus isolation with underlying heart conditions.
The Red Devils are in Covid-19 lockdown as the Premier League is trying to organise a return this summer. It has seen United come up with plans to get back to full strength once the suspension is lifted.
But one fan has revealed how the club have taken an extra step for a supporter most vulnerable to the outbreak. Damien Masters, posting on LinkedIn last week, said: “Thank you Manchester United. “As a family, we have held season tickets for five generations now. “About 11 years ago, my dad had a heart attack at Old Trafford, just before the first game of the season.
