Celtic boss Neil Lennon insists his side had a near perfect 2020 before the enforced coronavirus shutdown - and they can be a match for any team in the world.
The Hoops were well on their way to claiming their ninth league title in a row when leagues all around Europe were cancelled because of the virus.
Lennon's men had gone 13 points clear of Rangers at the top of the Premiership, despite 2019 ending with a 2-1 defeat at home to their Ibrox rivals.
But their 2020 form has been so good that Lennon insists they are up there with any club in the world and hopes they can continue it when football returns.No date has been set for that happening but Lennon told the Celtic website: “What’s pleased me has been the quality of our performances.
