Data from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the US, suggests that in Europe, Belgium has the highest number of confirmed Covid-19 deaths for every 100,000 of the population.
The figure for Belgium is 75+ deaths for each 100,000 of the population. It compares with Spain 56+, Italy 50+, UK 47+, Netherlands 31+, Sweden 31+ and Ireland is at 29+.
Outside of Europe, the US has 24 plus deaths for every 100,000 of the population. On these figures, South Korea has performed well at 0.5 and Singapore on 0.35.
Comparisons between countries are very difficult, as not all countries may be counting all Covid-19 deaths, or probable deaths.
