An NHS assessment centre for patients with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 has been established in North Lanarkshire.Anyone whose symptoms have become worse, including increased shortness of breath, or whose symptoms have lasted more than seven days, should initially call NHS 24.If appropriate, clinicians will call the patient back for a full clinical triage and to decide the best course of treatment.The patient may be directed to local support, offered an appointment at one of two NHS Lanarkshire assessment centres which have been set up in Airdrie and Hamilton to combat coronavirus.
