Andy Burnham has insisted there is ‘no policy’ to deny hospital beds to care home residents after multiple accounts of people being told they would not be admitted, despite having symptoms.
The M.E.N. reported last week how concerns had been raised by Salford MP Barbara Keeley that some kind of ‘blanket’ ban had been applied to admissions from care and nursing homes.
