BBC's new drama Normal People is looking like the network's naughtiest ever show as its claimed there is 41 minutes of steamy sex scenes in the first season.

The first season of the eye-watering raunchy show only has 12 episodes but fans have claimed that they have added the sex scenes up and it amounts to 41 minutes of on-screen red hot action.

Previously the BBC's sexiest and raunchiest shows were Versailles and Wanderlust but it looks like Normal People has taken over BBC Three.

Calculated by The Sun, the publication claims that the show is 12 per cent sex scenes, as it said it counted the scenes as "sex, kissing or foreplay".
