Teens kick police officer on the ground after being confronted over lockdown rules

A group of teenagers was filmed attacking a police officer and dragging him along the floor after he confronted them over allegedly breaking coronavirus lockdown rules.

The shocking incident took place when a lone officer was called to West Byfleet Park in Woking, Surrey, yesterday at 7.40pm, according to Surrey Police.

Footage shows the uniformed officer holding one of the people to the ground before three other youths come kicking at him. The group can be heard yelling while dragging the officer along the floor in the park.

Some teenage girls who captured the video are also heard laughing in the background while filming. The officer had been called to respond reports of a group of 30 people gathering at West Byfleet Park as they flouted
