North Korean couple 'shot dead' by firing squad after breaking quarantine

A North Korean couple were shot dead after breaking quarantine in an attempt to escape the country, according to reports. The duo, from the Ryanggang province near China, reportedly tried to flee across the border.

And according to reports they were shot dead by a firing squad without trial. However, their teenaged nephew reportedly survived because he was allowed to escaped executing.
