PHILADELPHIAA - As Philadelphia surges beyond 400 homicides in 2021, drive-by shootings appear to be becoming a big part of the city’s gun violence epidemic.
FOX 29’s Hank Flynn spoke with two men who were nearly in the wrong place at the wrong time during a deadly drive-by shooting just last week. That incident occurred at Broad Street and Chew Avenue.
John and Cleveland tell FOX 29 they were at that location just 15 minutes before the suspects opened fire. "'We just walked past there’, that was the first thing I said," one of the men explained.
