Members of the public are now being urged not to use public transport across Greater Manchester for anything other than ‘essential journeys’ in the wake of the continued spread of coronavirus.
A Sunday service will run on Metrolink every day. Already reduced tram, train and bus services will remain, but they will be ‘stepped down’ from Sunday, Transport for Greater Manchester said.
In an updated statement on Friday, TfGM said limited services would be maintained for key workers. Revised tram, train and bus timetables however have been published, with commuters urged to check operators' websites for the latest information.
