Perthshire residents encouraged to send a smile to key workers

Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS) has launched a ‘Send a Smile’ service.The service is calling on residents to send thank you cards, pictures and messages of support to key workers.Over the past few weeks, many residents have displayed rainbows in their windows and on their bins to show their support for key workers risking their lives on the front line during the COVID-19 outbreak.And every Thursday evening thousands of people stand on their doorsteps to clap for carers.Blow for Highland Perthshire as Enchanted Forest event is cancelled But PKAVS was aware that the people of Perth and Kinross were keen to do more.
