He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

GOOD Morning Britain has been hit by 681 Ofcom complaints in just eight days. The ITV daytime news show has seen host Piers Morgan engage in a series of fiery rows with guests such as top Trump aide Rudy Giuliani and sacked US cop Thomas Lane's lawyer.

Meanwhile celebrity hairdresser Adee Phelan swore three times in an impassioned rant covering everything from the NHS to racism that left some viewers furious.

Piers refused to apologise for his old clipper's language and instead credited his passion. Adee appeared on the to discuss his fundraising for NHS nurses fighting coronavirus but exploded at the government, saying "they need to get their s**t in order".
