Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Outspoken TV journalist Piers Morgan is looking to make some positive changes amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 54, is not usually afraid to kick up some dust on social media when airing his views.

However, Piers is looking to hold back a little more now in light of the current health crisis that is blighting the world. Speaking to The Sun, Piers told the paper that he would not be behaving on Twitter as he used to do.

He said: "So much of it was vile and hostile, arguing with the trolls, and I'm not going to engage with people like that any more. "I don't want to lose sense of that platform for good - I want to keep the element of fun, but with no more pointless arguments with people like Jameela
