Ryanair tell customer 'we are not forcing you to travel' after refusing refund and saying June flight WILL go ahead

A mum who has had to cancel her travel plans because of the pandemic has been told by Ryanair officials "we are not forcing you to travel, but we cannot offer a refund”.

Nikkie Riley had planned to travel to Barcelona with two teenagers for a holiday on June 26. But the UK government has warned against all but essential travel as countries grapple with Covid-19.

In addition, all new international arrivals entering Spain are now required to self-isolate in their residence or a hotel for 14 days.

As such, Nikkie contacted both Ryanair and On The Beach to ask if her flights and accommodation could be refunded or rescheduled to a later date next year.
