The man suspected of killing three people in the Reading terror attack was checked by police less than 24 hours before it happened, it is claimed.
A specialist mental health team searched for Khairi Saadallah after finding he wasn't at home during a weekend check, the Daily Mail reports.
The 'street triage' team, consisting of psychiatric nurses and police officers, found him shortly before midnight on a street in Reading, the newspaper reports.
Sources told the Mail that he was taken back to his home. The 25-year-old, originally from Libya, had been receiving psychiatric care, it is believed.
