Premier League club 'already testing its players' with 40,000 tests to total £4million

Premier League bosses are reportedly set to spend £4million on 40,000 coronavirus tests for players and staff in a bid to help complete the season.

And one major top flight club is said to already have started sending out testing kits to players’ homes so that they can test themselves individually.

There is still just under a quarter of all matches still to be played this season with clubs still vying for spots at both ends of the table.

All Premier League clubs are set to resume training by next Monday on an individual basis although some have already opened their doors to players.
