The Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, is calling for workplace assessments as lockdown is lifted as people are "really worried" about returning due to coronavirus fears.
He told ITV's Good Morning Britain that just as there was a consensus going into lockdown, there should be a national consensus coming out.
He said: “I sense that people are really worried about lifting of lockdown. They’re really worried about going back to work. “They need a high level of reassurance.” The UK government is obliged to consider extending the lockdown on Thursday, at the end of the current three-week period.
