Despite King Charles' shock cancer diagnosis, normality has resumed for many members of the Royal Family including Princess Anne, who has now returned to official duties.
The Princess Royal threw herself straight back into Royal engagements on Tuesday, 6 February with a day filled with important formal events.The 73 year old kicked things off with an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where she handed out honours.
Princess Anne made both conductor Ivor Bolton and tenor Nicky Spence a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) at the ceremony, with them both being recognised for services to music.
Princess Anne was all smiles as she shook hands with the attendees and presented them with their honours. Rugby union referee Sara Cox and wheelchair rugby league player James Simpson were also among the honours recipients.
