The Queen has been warned her Buckingham Palace garden parties are at risk of catastrophe from dozens of infected trees that tower over the Royal HQ.
Her Majesty, 93, has reportedly employed an army of gardeners to trim or cut down up to 90 trees at her central London home after fungal disease was discovered.
Experts have warned the Queen – who is self-isolating at Windsor Castle over the coronavirus crisis – that her London planes trees are infected from a disease called Massaria.
The monarch has also been told her Poplar trees are also becoming unsafe due to age. They have told her the trees are now at risk of falling down on guests during the famous parts that are held on the Queen’s famous Palace lawns.
