Raheem Sterling has backed worldwide anti-racism protests following the killing of George Floyd in the United States.The Manchester City star, who has suffered racist abuse in the past, claims the only disease in the world right now is the racism that is being fought.The 25-year-old has been an advocate for tackling the issue for years and hopes that a solution can be found sooner rather than later.Speaking on BBC Newsnight, Sterling said: "I know this might sound a little bit cheesy but the only disease right now is the racism that we are fighting."This is the most important thing at this moment in time because this is something that is happening for years and years.
