The finale of RuPaul's Drag Race is to go ahead with a virtual lip sync for the crown. Season 12 of the hit talent show was cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak as TV bosses were left unable to film either the reunion show or the live final.

However, producers have now ended weeks of speculation about the future of the series by revealing their plans to get the show back on track.

The reunion show, which brings the drag queens back together to spill the tea with the four finalists, will be turned into a virtual "slumber party".

The stars will chat with host RuPaul and the other queens from lockdown using video calling technology which will air on May 22.
