Scottish Labour leader, who has tested negative for the virus, will continue with his parliamentary work remotely as he is now unable to travel to Holyrood.
The Scottish Parliament resumed for its new session last week following the election earlier this month. A party spokesman said: “Anas Sarwar is self-isolating as a result of a member of his household testing positive for Covid-19. “Mr Sarwar is well and will continue to fulfil his role in the Scottish Parliament remotely for the period of his self-isolation." The MSP lives in the southside of Glasgow, where an uptick in covid cases has been recorded in the last week.
