A "selfless" restaurant manager has been praised for his support of emergency services battling a massive blaze at a Scots industrial estate.
Nigel Brooks, manager of The Brucefield Farm, provided food and drinks to emergency responders on Saturday as firefighters worked tirelessly to contain a large fire at a unit in the Brucefield estate.
Out of concern for visitor safety, Nigel canceled all 100 bookings for the evening after the fire broke out. However, he chose to open the doors of his restaurant to police and firefighters who remained at the scene for hours, reports Edinburgh Live.
In recognition of his kindness, West Lothian officers presented Nigel with a letter of gratitude, commending him for his selfless actions during the emergency.
