Campbell has turned to management in recent years after being given a break by Macclesfield Town - and now finds himself at Southend.
But the side currently sit second from bottom in League One, 16 points away from safety with nine games left. And Cox, who was managed by Campbell in his last season at Southend, has revealed how the former defender has some brutal methods at the Essex-based side.
